Anderson Cooper Reportedly Leaving ‘60 Minutes’ Aimed Massive Shakeup Under New Leadership

The NY Post is reporting that Anderson Cooper is planning to leave ‘60-Minutes’ after two decades.

According to Breaker Media, Anderson Cooper informed the network he would not renew his contract and would not return next Fall with CBS.

The newsletter went on to report that Anderson Cooper plans to spend more time with his family and focus on CNN. Cooper is one of the most recognizable faces at ‘60-Minutes’ to leave, as Bari Weiss continues to run turmoil on the program—over alleged and reported anger sparking among staffers after delaying a report about El Salvador prisons.
