Jailhouse vegan food is not all it is cracked-up to be...believe it or not...

Sam-Bankman Fried (aka SBF), the former founder and CEO of cyrpto currency exchange FTX, is not living the lavish lifestyle his once billionaire status allowed before his jail sentence–and that includes his food choice options.

SBF is a well-known vegan on the grounds of animal-welfare. So he does not need to eat in the chow hall of jail.

Instead, the former crypto billionaire instead puts together some ingredients offered in the commissary, according to The Intelligencer.

This includes some dehydrated refried beans at $2.60 a pouch; rice at $1.75 a pack; Goya-brand sazón at $2.45 a box. But it is not all that easy as SBF might be acustom to, as he needs to find ways to use his prison bunk and amenities to help cook his dishes.

SBF joked about putting together a ‘Vegan Prison Cookbook’ with The Intelligencer, which includes how to cook a dish if the hot water isn’t working (not a joke).

But don’t feel too sorry for SBFl; he was still able to purchase himself an SCORE 7T tablet at $135, so that he can re-watch old seasons of Chicago Fire and play some video games.

SBF still finds the silver-lining in everything, while he continues to plead his innocent.
