The FDNY responded to a rubbish fire that broke out on the Brooklyn Bridge during the Macy’s Fourth of July fireworks were going off.
The fire started at around 9pm on the Manhattan-bound side and was likely caused by the display.
There were no reports of any injuries at the time.
After the fireworks show ended, you could see red lights from emergency vehicles in the middle of the Brooklyn Bridge.
According to the New York Times, know one panicked about the fire…and no reports about panic regarding the Mob Wives star showing up either.
That’s right, the New York Tmes was lucky enough to score an interview with Love Majewski, from Mob Wives. Talk about right place, right time for the NYT. Apparently, she was watching the fireworks from Manhattan,when she was surprised to see flames.
She told the NYT, “I saw this weird fire, flames that came out of nowhere.” The Mob Wives sense kicked in (thankfully), as she continued that ‘something was out of control as they were not timed fireworks blasts.
Good eye, Ms. Majewski!
Unlike Ms. Majewski, she noticed ‘that tourists around her couldn’t tell that something was wrong.’
But thankfully the Mob Wives star recognized all this in time.
