Everyone knows how hard it is to get a reservation at the worlds most sought after eateries.
Carbone is a crapshoot. 4 Charles Prime is almost always out of the question. Ralph Lauren Polo Bar is at least 30-days out.
And the list of reasons for not being able to secure a spot somewhere chic goes on.
The Dorsia app wants to be the answer to you impressing your friends, family, or date with getting that reservation in North America, Europe, and Dubai.
Here’s the catch…you need to apply for membership and it can be pricey. Three membership packages are offered can start at $200 to $25,000 a year with very vague details of what you actually get with it…but they do mention ‘fun coupons’ with you $25,000 subscription. However, their definition of ‘fun’ might be different from ours and yours.
But is it really worth it? Well…that’s up for debate. Based on the restaurants listed on its website for New York City, you probably won’t have a problem getting a table at most of them…Chinese Tuxedo has plenty up tables open…just look on Resy.
Some other notable ones where you don’t need a paid membership to score a table: Tao, The Grill, Crane Club, Dirty French, Saddeles, Bad Roman, etc…
If you ever can’t score a table at Carbone, Major Food Group (MFG) staff always try to accommodate by getting you a table at The Grill, Dirty French, Bad Roman, and other places they own. Or you can just go on OpenTable.
But there are some places where it looks like they can get you a spot at coveted locations such as: Don Angies, Carbone, The Corner Store, The 86, Daniel, and others.
Is that enough to get you to sign up for membership?
