McNally…does it ring a bell? If you’ve been indulging in New York City eateries for years, there is a good chance you’ve dined at one of Keith McNally’s famous restaurants.

Pastis, Balthazar, Minetta Tavern, etc. the list goes on. Regardless of the spot, Keith McNally has been the pinnacle of creating famed eateries across the world, especially in New York City.

Now his son, George McNally, is following in those same foot steps with the building of Faux in Tribeca.

According to Grub Street, George McNally is planning to launch in the Summer, but the restaurant does not appear ready to even be close to opening.

George McNally also told Grub Street this his father ‘is very hands off with everything.’ And that ‘he’s not really one to be like, ‘Let me help you.’”

The real question is once it launches will diners be friends or foes (see what we did there? faux…foe…its a homonym) and if Keith McNally will go on a tirade via his notorious Instagram account to public bash them.
