Veuve Clicquot & Morton’s Steakhouse Partnership…Was It Worth It?

Back in January 2026, Veuve Clicquot and Morton’s Steakhouse teamed up for a pairing that was unique…and slightly pretentious.

The idea was you go to Morton’s at the bar, and you can order a glass of Veuve champagne with sliders (burger or chicken) with a side of truffle fries.

The pairing comes up with a Veuve styled box (similar to what you get at McDonald’s when you order a Big Mac meal) with branding that houses the sliders and fries.

The food is good. But people in general need to get over the idea that ‘truffle fries’ are actual truffle— and not truffle oil. The two are (very much) not the same. Truffle is delicatessen and succulent piece to a divine dish of quality food. Not meant to be on French fries.

The branding is cute and simple. And anything with Veuve plays well for the Instagram goers, which is essentially (what it feels like) this pairing partnership was meant to achieve. The Instagram goers taking a break from ‘dry-January’ and going out for some perfect angled shots of their branded Veuve containers.

All-in-all it got the buzz and slight hype uptick. But it’s not something that should be taken as a must-have indulgent. The $29 price tag doesn’t exactly say ‘sophisticated’ and ‘luxury dining’ either.
